Beware of Movie

Read the link below:
You may already know about the kids movie coming out in December starring Nicole Kidman. It's called The Golden Compass, and while it will be a watered down version, it is based on a series of children's books about killing God (It is the anti-Narnia). Please follow this link and then pass it on. From what I understand, the hope is to get a lot of kids to see the movie - which won't seem too bad - and then get the parents to buy the books for their kids for Christmas. The quotes from the author sum it all up. I hope it totally bombs because we were all paying attention!
I will post about Homecoming and the newly furnished nursery soon...so stay tuned.

Thanks for alerting us Brooke. I went out and read the information and it is amazing to me that they assume parents will not investigate before taking their children. Hollywood is deceptive most of the time anyway, but doesn't sound like this is decieiving as much as it is just counting on parents not doing their homework?

I sent you an email about this. Is everyone sending out this email? It is a good post; I should have thought about it. I look forward to the nursery... I hope there are pictures!!

Brooke,

I found your post through Katie Coldwell's. I also went to ACU and reposted your information about The Golden Compass. I don't have children, but many of my friends do and I thought they might like to know about this movie as well.

Thanks,
Carissa
