Easter comes Early

Did you enjoy the earliest Easter that any of us will ever see? I was worried about the weather, you know, but it ended up being a pretty nice day! Unfortunately, so many around us were battling sickness. This has been one crazy season of sickness. I am very thankful Audrey has remained healthy through it! Too bad Mimi and Papa couldn't hold her yesterday. Audrey did get to spend time with Ma and Poppy. Ma - aka, the Easter Bunny - gave Audrey a great Easter basket! I get to eat the Peeps, yum! We also got to see a new birth into Christ when my cousin, Ashley, was baptized yesterday.

An update from the previous post:

  • Audrey is now doing better at night since she started to pull this every 2 hour business. The past 3 nights, she has chunked together 6 hours of sleep and I only had to get up with her twice.
  • The family picture was never taken. Again, sickness was to blame. When the picture does take place, hopefully Audrey will a little bit older and not be as fussy.
  • Easter weather - no rain and warmer than anticipated!
Here are some pics from Easter. We were running around the entire day and didn't get home until 10:30. I may dress Audrey up again and get a posed shot of just her.

On a side note, I hope you enjoy the new look to the blog!

Audrey is such a little doll. I'm glad that she is letting you get a bit more sleep these days. Your previous post made me laugh, though I'm sure it must have been frustrating at the time.

Cute Easter pics. I was so glad the weather was better than expected too. She looks good in yellow and that is a hard color to pull off. Ok so I just read the next blog too and you are brave to let those people hold Audrey after all that. I would feel so weird!!! What a strange experience.

The Easter pics are precious. I'm glad Audrey has been able to avoid sickness too. About the sleeping thing, it always seemed that with Ella, that if she started changing her sleeping pattern it was because something was about to change, like teeth, sitting up, crawling....etc. Then, just as quick as the strange sleeping habit started, it would stop. It also seemed as soon as I thought I had figured her out, same with Hayden, they would change once again. P.S. I love your new layout!!
